Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our patient care unit staff, assisting with delegated tasks and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patient care unit staff with delegated tasks, including direct and indirect patient care, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Carry out designated activities within the scope of practice for unlicensed nursing personnel.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to patient safety.
- Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
- Completion of 12 college credits or high school diploma/GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
- Able to maintain current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Competitive compensation rate, with a minimum of $20.21/hour for RMC Campus and $18.54/hour for SMC Campus.
- Full-time schedule with variable hours, including days, evenings, and nights, with opportunities for 8- and 12-hour shifts.
