Job Overview

The HRIS Analyst plays a crucial role within the HRIS department, providing essential support and maintenance for Human Resource Information System (HRIS) applications, including time and attendance as well as HCM programs, alongside other systems managed by the HRIS team.

Key Responsibilities

This position acts as a technical liaison for designated functional areas, ensuring data integrity through system configurations, testing modifications, report generation, and analyzing data flows to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

The HRIS Analyst is also responsible for supporting HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and various technical projects as assigned.


Remote Work Opportunity

This role allows for remote work from home.


Essential Functions

- Develop, maintain, and support various custom pay rule configurations, reports, and queries for both union and non-union environments using multiple time and attendance systems, Workday HCM technology, and additional tools.

- Create standard alerts and Cognos reports to meet ongoing customer requirements.

- Ensure data integrity in HRIS systems by conducting audits, running queries, and analyzing data.

- Perform analysis, prepare business requirements specifications, and design, plan, and implement modifications and enhancements to the HRIS system and other related systems.

- Execute mass data changes in the core system, including EIB, while maintaining a high level of data integrity.

- Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; and recommend solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.

- Deliver professional, timely, and accurate responses to inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction, while distributing training materials to enhance managerial efficiency and effectiveness.

- Proactively research and resolve customer issues.

Skills and Qualifications

- Experience with systems implementation and project management techniques is preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

- Flexibility and self-motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment are necessary.

- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively is required.

- Capability to inform, explain, and provide clear instructions is essential.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team is required.

- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, human resource management, or a related field is required.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS systems, preferably with Workday HCM and Infor/WFM, is required.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook is required.

- Advanced knowledge of Cognos reporting and Apache Groovy programming is required.

- Intermediate experience with Workday HCM and Infor/WFM systems is preferred.


Travel Requirements

- Minimal travel may be required, approximately 0-10%.
