This role involves delivering expert knowledge on specific precision product lines while fostering enduring relationships within the designated territory to enhance company profitability and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance market share and profitability for the designated precision products within the assigned region.
  • Establish and nurture relationships throughout the industry to stay informed and engaged with all product-related activities.
  • Utilize company-provided systems to meticulously document, track, and manage all sales activities in a timely and precise manner.
  • Identify opportunities by assessing customer fleets and methodologies, proposing superior solutions proactively.
  • Organize and conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Oversee the delivery of new machines and provide on-site operational and maintenance training, ensuring customers are well-supported and satisfied.
  • Maintain regular communication with store management and sales professionals to share insights on regional activities.
  • Act as a primary contact for technical and commercial product inquiries with manufacturing partners.
  • Engage actively in industry groups and events, staying updated on competitive products and pricing.
  • Identify additional sales, parts, and service opportunities, reporting prospects to relevant team members.
  • Provide ongoing training for customers and employees regarding product developments and competitive offerings.
  • Assist customers with parts, service, and repair needs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing job duties.
  • Exhibit professionalism in interactions with customers and the community, representing RDO Equipment Co. positively.
  • Proactively engage in company-sponsored training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in all company communication initiatives, including meetings and departmental gatherings.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues and management, committed to teamwork and exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional manner.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Prior sales experience and/or training.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Preferred knowledge of machinery resale values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Valid work authorization to operate in the U.S. without sponsorship.
