This role requires an individual to deliver expert knowledge on specific precision product lines while fostering long-term relationships within the designated territory to enhance company profitability and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive market share and profitability for the assigned precision products within the specified region.

• Cultivate relationships and network within the industry to stay informed and engaged in all product-related activities. Understand the market dynamics, including future projects and current operations, and establish a real-time communication channel across the industry.

• Utilize company-provided systems and tools (e.g., Sales Advantage) to meticulously document, track, and manage all sales activities in a timely and precise manner. This should directly contribute to the proposal process, securing sales, enhancing territory awareness, and improving customer satisfaction.

• Identify opportunities by assessing customer fleets and methodologies, and proactively suggest improved solutions.

• Organize and conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.

• Oversee the delivery of new machinery and provide on-site operation and maintenance training. Ensure ongoing support and satisfaction for customers post-delivery.

• Maintain regular communication with store management and sales professionals to share insights on regional activities.

• Serve as a primary contact for technical and commercial product inquiries with manufacturing partners.

• Actively participate in industry groups and events, staying updated on competitive activities, products, and pricing.

• Seek additional sales, parts, and service opportunities for the company and relay those prospects to the relevant team members.

• Provide training for customers and employees, focusing on continuous education regarding product developments and competitor offerings.

• Assist customers with parts, service, and repair needs.

• Adhere to all safety regulations while performing job duties and comply with company policies as outlined in manuals and the employee handbook.

• Represent RDO Equipment Co. professionally in all customer and community interactions.

• Actively pursue and engage in company-sponsored training to enhance knowledge and skills.

• Participate in all company communication initiatives, including meetings and team huddles.

• Foster a positive and professional relationship with colleagues, management, and support teams, maintaining a commitment to teamwork and exceptional customer service.

• Execute all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently

• Previous sales experience and/or training

• Strong understanding of local market conditions

• Knowledge of resale values for specific machinery is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Outstanding customer service abilities

• Proficient computer skills

• Candidates must possess valid work authorization and be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
