Overview

Responsibilities
  • Ensure eligible storm debris is removed, loaded, and hauled.
  • Interface with contractors and crew in the field, reporting to the Field Supervisor.
  • Record information on each load ticket, including GPS coordinates and photos.
  • Monitor contractor safety and report potential issues to the Field Supervisor.
  • Document and report any damage resulting from debris removal operations.
  • Work on-site for required hours, including 12-hour shifts and 7-day periods.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment
  • Operate standard office equipment, including personal computers and facsimile machines.
Education, Training, Experience, and Licensing/Certification Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
  • Ability to learn and follow instructions.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds daily.
Working Conditions
  • Work in an outdoor environment 95% of the time.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Travel via automobile on a daily basis.
