Job Title: Animation Lead

We are seeking an experienced Animation Lead to join our team at Eleventh Hour Games. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality animations for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand animation needs and lead execution on animation design and implementation
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation, and workflow plans
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through regular monitoring of production status, team morale, and communication channels
  • Document and refine project processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing creative solutions
  • Communicate the Creative Director's animation vision to the team and ensure its implementation
  • Provide feedback and validation on team work to ensure quality objectives are met
  • Work closely with producers, animators, and artists to ensure project direction is followed
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of industry experience, 3+ years in animation-focused roles
  • Demonstrable experience in animation and team management through the full cycle of game development
  • Passion for leadership and mentoring with 2+ years of prior experience in a similar role
  • Experience delivering products while managing remote teams, including experience with team member feedback and evaluation processes
  • Demonstrable working experience with Maya, Unity, and project management software
  • Ability to work core studio hours (10am-4pm CST)
