Position Title: Neonatologist at Cook Childrens Physician Network

Company Overview: Cook Childrens Physician Network is dedicated to delivering outstanding healthcare services in the pediatric field.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a full-time Neonatologist who is board eligible or board certified. The selected candidate will have a profound interest in the care of NICU graduates and will contribute to our NEST Developmental Follow-up Clinic. Our emphasis is on developmental follow-up, while also addressing the social determinants of health that impact this demographic and assisting families in managing life after NICU discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing standardized neurological evaluations and developmental screenings.
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of specialists, including neurologists, developmental pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and therapists.
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research aligned with personal interests and expertise.
  • Working a full-time schedule with allocated time for administrative responsibilities.
  • Participating in annual collaborative meetings focused on follow-up care and ongoing education centered on neurodevelopmental follow-up.

Candidate Qualifications: The ideal candidate should hold board certification in pediatrics and be board eligible or certified in Neonatology or Pediatrics, with eligibility for an unrestricted Texas Medical License.
