Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at the City of Solana Beach. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and public buildings
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with city regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address community needs
  • Develop and implement plans to improve the city's infrastructure and services
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers and staff members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
