Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision, consultation, and performance assessments to Designated Crisis Responders
- Manage the 24/7/365 schedule for Crisis and Commitment Services
- Review cases for proper documentation, decision-making, and quality assurance
- Perform administrative duties, address complaints, and develop procedures and service protocols
- Participate in regular meetings with community partners to promote the interests of CCS and maintain positive working relations
- Provide training and education to outside agencies and community groups on the involuntary detention law process and the role of the CCS
- Manage and participate in recruitment and hiring
- Provide on-call support to the team on a 24-hour basis, on a weekly rotation with the supervisor team
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) License as defined in WAC
- Washington State Department of Health credential that satisfies the definition of MHP in good standing
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of RCW 71.05 and RCW 71.34 and related WACS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience, post-graduate, in the direct evaluation and treatment of persons with mental illness under the supervision of a mental health professional and experience in responding to patients in crisis
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing employee teams or as a project team lead
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in writing and verbally, including public speaking
- Experience working as a supervisor or a project team lead in human services and/or equivalent education on supervision and management skills and practice
- Knowledge of the mental health system, chemical dependency system, social service network, and resources offering alternatives to involuntary hospitalization
- Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, team player, and good listening skills
- 2 years or more experience as a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR) in Washington State
- Licensed as a Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP)
