PT Deli Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Sales Associate to join our team at Hannaford Supermarkets. As a Deli Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our prepared foods and deli products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and offering solutions to meet their needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli and prepared foods areas, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Prepare and package products according to established standards and quality goals, including slicing, cutting, and weighing products.
- Support the service counter by answering customer questions, handling transactions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop product knowledge in various areas of the department to provide customers with informed recommendations and solutions.
- Perform all assigned cleaning functions in accordance with company policy to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Assist in training other associates and perform other functions as assigned by management.
- Delightful customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new products, procedures, and technologies.
- Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and to stand for long periods of time.
