About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part-Time associate to join our team at Lowe's Companies. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service at the register, answering questions and providing a professional experience for customers.
  • Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
  • Manage a cash register, process payments, and handle exchanges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cashier, salesperson, or retail associate.
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • Customer-focused and goal-oriented mindset.
