Cash Application Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our billing office, you will be responsible for performing reconciliation, clerical, and reimbursement support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date cash reconciliations
  • Prepare and distribute Explanation of Benefits to collectors in a timely manner
  • Process cash transfers from Centers to the Billing Center
  • Assist with data entry and balancing deposits
  • Balance cash daily and report figures to the Accounting Department monthly
  • Assist with gathering reimbursement data for financial reporting

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Computer training and/or experience with Microsoft programs
  • Strong communication, organization, and reconciliation skills
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software
