Position Overview

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Receptionist for a part-time role. This position involves working at our primary office and may require occasional travel to our secondary location.

Role Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Welcoming patients, facilitating check-in, and collecting necessary insurance details.
  • Providing intake forms and essential office policy documents to patients.
  • Processing patient payments for co-pays and uninsured services.
  • Conducting insurance verifications.
  • Coordinating appointment scheduling for new and returning patients based on provider availability.
  • Maintaining both physical and electronic patient records.
  • Contacting patients to remind them of appointments and assist with scheduling additional services.
  • Offering support and guidance to patients as needed.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage a high volume of patient interactions.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.
