Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a key member of our Respiratory Therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and metabolic testing to assess patient respiratory function
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
  • Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and support to promote optimal health and well-being
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, continuing education, and professional growth and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or equivalent
  • Less than 1 year of experience in respiratory care or a related field
