Position Overview
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) plays a crucial role in delivering respiratory care as prescribed by healthcare providers. This part-time position requires dedication to patient care during the night shift.

Weekly Hours

Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapies and diagnostic tests as directed by physicians.
- Maintain and clean respiratory therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care.
- In the absence of the Shift Supervisor, oversee the distribution of tasks among team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Active BCLS certification.
- State licensure as a respiratory care practitioner in Missouri.
- Strong verbal communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
- Proficient writing skills for accurate documentation in patient records.
- Understanding of human development to effectively engage with patients of varying ages.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Maintain CPR certification for ongoing employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum one year of experience in respiratory therapy.
