Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Level 1 Communication Systems Technician to join our rapidly growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for the installation and support of communication systems. We rely on the expertise of our technicians in delivering the best service and products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, program, and maintain complex communication systems for education, healthcare, manufacturing, public safety, and other mission-critical customers.
- Troubleshoot communication systems to identify and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with the respective team, Service manager, and customer to ensure seamless communication.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and participate in training and certification programs.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Work independently for extended periods of time and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in electronic engineering technology, Electronics and Computer Technology, or IT.
- Certified Electronics Technician Certification (CET) from ETA – preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various types of hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Current, valid driver's license and ability to obtain background clearance.
