We are seeking a Level 1 Communication Systems Technician to join our rapidly growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for the installation and support of communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, and maintain complex communication systems for education, healthcare, manufacturing, public safety, and other mission-critical customers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot communication systems to identify and resolve problems.
  • Assist and collaborate well with the respective team, Service manager, and customer.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and be mentored on new technologies.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Work without direct supervision for extended periods of time.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Complete necessary training and certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in electronic engineering technology, Electronics and Computer Technology, or IT.
  • Certified Electronics Technician Certification (CET) from ETA – preferred not required.
  • Have a mechanical aptitude and ability to use various types of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to complete reports and documentation associated with job tasks.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain background clearance.
