Medical Nurse Specialist

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Registered Nurse in this unique position, you will have the opportunity to float between four units: Intensive Care, Cardiopulmonary, Oncology/Transplant, and Surgical/Trauma. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment that requires critical thinking and patient-focused care.

To be eligible for this role, you must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meet the requirements of multi-state licensure. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, and certification in a specialty is strongly encouraged. Membership in a professional organization is also encouraged.
Work ScheduleThis role requires a varied schedule, including 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a, and weekend and holiday rotations. The hourly range for this position is $46.50, with shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights.
