We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Float Pool at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of Moving Health Forward.

Position Highlights:
  • Unique opportunity to float between 4 units: Intensive Care Unit, Cardiopulmonary Unit, Oncology/Transplant Unit, and Surgical/Trauma Unit
  • Eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps pay off your loans and save money
  • Opportunity to become nationally certified and go beyond licensure and employment requirements
  • Autonomous professional nursing practice with a team dedicated to quality patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required
  • Certification in specialty preferred
Work Schedule:

Varied shifts between days and nights, including 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a, with weekend and holiday rotation

Pay:

The hourly range for this position is $46.50 per hour, with a $3 shift differential for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights
