Job Title: Construction Inspectors and Technicians

CMT Technical Services is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors and Technicians to join our team in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled professionals to provide project construction inspections and materials testing support for transportation, civil, and structural building projects. The ideal candidate will have certifications with ATTI, ACI, ICC, AWS, and Nuclear Density Gauge, and possess strong mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide project construction inspections and materials testing support for transportation, civil, and structural building projects.
  • Inspect construction operations for compliance with contract provisions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Test construction materials, including soils, asphalt, concrete, masonry, structural steel, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure project quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Certifications with ATTI, ACI, ICC, AWS, and Nuclear Density Gauge.
  • Proficient in construction inspections and specifications.
  • Strong mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable knowledge of roadway, building, and structure construction methods, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge of electronic data processing equipment and contract management software.
  • Knowledge of general inspection and testing principles, safety, and quality control-quality assurance principles.
  • Skill in the use of nuclear density and materials testing equipment.
Physical Demands
  • Lifting of concrete cylinders, wheelbarrows, and other tools is necessary.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
