About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Berry Global. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and enforce all safety and plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
  • Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
  • Collect samples at scheduled intervals from each assigned machine and perform the necessary quality testing procedure on samples.
  • Accurately record information consistent with the department format.
  • Communicate with mold technicians, machine operators, shift coordinators, etc. in an effort to run a consistent project.
  • Follow all department procedures with respect to routine daily assignments.
Requirements
  • Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting 50 lbs. 5-7 days a week.
  • Maintain an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency. Read, write and speak English.
  • Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
  • Basic Computer skills, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
  • Capable of being consistently accurate and making quality related decisions within guidelines.
  • Capable of differentiating between colors and shades of color.
  • Must work well with others.
