Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of 2+ direct reports to ensure effective maintenance and upkeep of our apartment communities.
- Service and Maintenance
- Provide exemplary service to residents and team members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
- Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed.
- Compliance and Budgeting
- Ensure property follows AIR operating procedures/guidelines, regulations, and other compliance matters, including those related to Environmental Health & Safety.
- Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer service.
- Experience
- At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management, ideally in property management or a similar industry (hospitality, retail, restaurants, etc.).
- Leadership and Team Management
- 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance.
- Skills and Qualifications
- A reliable mode of transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
- Comfort with physical activity, as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Competitive Compensation
- Expected pay rate of $70,000 - $85,000, plus quarterly bonus opportunities and an option to live on-site, rent-free at your community (certain exclusions and taxes apply, and an application is required).
