About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team at Unity Works Talent. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall condition of our multifamily properties is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of the property's condition and promptly address any safety concerns.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Community Manager or Service Manager.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair tasks as assigned.
  • Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless exceptional circumstances require additional time.
  • Effectively interact with prospects, residents, peers, and management.
  • Maintain the leasing office, recreational areas, and common facilities.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Clear understanding of business concepts, processes, and strategic thinking principles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Ability to access all apartment homes and community areas for various tasks.
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, painting, drywall, buffing, waxing, and use of power tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Must provide own tools where applicable.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Property Management.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
