About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team at Applied Research Associates (ARA). As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding systems or applications through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RMF Process Management:
    • Guide systems or applications through the RMF process, ensuring compliance with NIST Special Publications and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
  • System and Application Review:
    • Review policy and categorize systems and applications to ensure compliance with RMF requirements.
  • Remediation and Continuous Monitoring:
    • Perform remediation activities for projects that have entered continuous monitoring, ensuring that systems and applications meet RMF requirements.
  • Project Support:
    • Support projects in multiple environments, including Amazon Web Services, Azure, and on-premise systems.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance:
    • Must have an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
    • 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud Experience:
    • Experience with cloud services, including AWS and Azure.
  • Compliance Experience:
    • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Tools Experience:
    • Experience with tools such as Xacta and eMASS.
