Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on information security assurance requests for RapidScale, a Cox Business company.
Key Responsibilities- Contractual Cybersecurity Provisions: Support legal and sales teams by reviewing and negotiating contractual cybersecurity provisions within customer RFPs and non-standard contracts.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide guidance to legal, sales, and other boundary partners regarding the applicability of cybersecurity provisions and/or compliance requirements for a particular product or service.
- Contract Management: Maintain oversight over customer-specific contractual requirements and work with teams throughout the organization to ensure the requirements are met and monitored.
- Security Compliance Attestation: Process requests for security compliance attestation (i.e., SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, PCI, HITRUST, ISO 27001, etc.) for authorized customers.
- Cybersecurity Support: Assist sales teams in responding to customer inquiries that are focused on the cybersecurity controls for selected products.
- Cybersecurity Risk Management: Build consensus across boundary partners and business partners to appropriately manage cybersecurity risk.
- Sales Support: Proactively represent the cybersecurity team requirements in the development and delivery of sales support capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (i.e., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems) and 6 years' experience in a related field.
- Industry Experience: Experience assessing or aligning with common industry security frameworks and regulatory requirements (i.e., SOC 1 and SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, and GDPR).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex cyber risk issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Soft Skills: Excellent soft skills such as interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
- Advanced Degree: MS degree + 4 years of experience preferred in a related discipline (i.e., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
- Industry Expertise: A background in 2 or more of Finance, Healthcare, and Cloud security compliance.
- Certifications: Certified in at least one of the following: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar.
The base salary for this role is $106,900.00 per year. Compensation includes a base salary and may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Cox Communications offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
