This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse in our Behavioral Health Inpatient unit at Lakeland Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders.
About the UnitOur 26-bed inpatient behavioral/mental health unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:7, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
- Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care (preferred)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (within 6 months)
