Scope of Work

As a Registered Nurse in our Behavioral Health unit, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to our patients and their families.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
  • Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
  • Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care preferred.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • Specialty certification highly recommended.
