Your Role as a Culinary Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Encourage skill development among kitchen staff through hands-on training focused on essential cooking techniques and time management.
  • Ensure Smooth Operations: Oversee the timely execution of kitchen tasks, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and comprehensive knowledge of our menus.
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Engage in open communication with team members, offering guidance and performance feedback to enhance overall kitchen efficiency.
  • Support Team Development: Facilitate the implementation of training programs and monitor team performance to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work alongside front-of-house teams to manage kitchen expenses and contribute to team meetings.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment.
  • A valid food handler's card and any other necessary certifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food production and service, including storage, preparation, and presentation standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to convey operational information effectively.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support our culinary team.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $22.00-$28.00 per hour.
