About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructional Paraprofessional to join our team at Accel Schools. As an Instructional Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of our students, working closely with teachers to ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized educational assistance to students, including support with technology and computer-based learning programs.
  • Assist teachers with instructional responsibilities, including lesson assessments and small group instruction.
  • Work with students one-to-one on academic, social skills, and character education.
  • Participate in identified training as necessary to meet the needs of student assignments.
  • Assist with lifting students, bathrooming, and/or personal assistance as needed.
  • Follow all safety plans, rules, and guidelines of the school.
Requirements
  • Educational aide or educator licensure required (ESEA Qualified).
  • 1-2 years' experience preferred with students with special needs.
  • Maturity and patience required to support students academically and emotionally.
  • Able to identify and refer situations to the Principal as needed.
  • Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work.
