About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team at Apex Academy. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with our teachers and students to provide academic support and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention.
- Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing.
- Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required.
Requirements:
- Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
- Previous experience working in a school or with school-age children is preferred.
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
