We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Secure Processing Solutions team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating secure mission computing systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals to execute system engineering design and development activities for our Cross Domain Solutions product.
  • Participate in the secure systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing, and qualification.
  • Contribute to the development and cadence of Agile execution plans that are in compliance with program cost and schedule needs; understand risks and variances and assist in the development of mitigation plans.
  • Perform cost account management for assigned scope and be cognizant of assigned cost and schedule, reporting status, key performance metrics, and discussion of issues and concerns.
  • Participate in and facilitate Agile team ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement, and end-of-sprint product demos.

Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Travel expectations up to 10%.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber, SYS).
  • Experience with performing system design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition, integration, and test, and subsystem level integration.
  • Experience working multiple projects and being responsible for multiple concurrent project milestones with overlapping deadlines.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering process development and deployment.
  • Experience using the Atlassian resource suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence.
