Job Title: HR Business Partner

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is a leading energy company that values relationships and collaboration. We're seeking a skilled HR Business Partner to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering reliable and affordable electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders and business units to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable HR initiatives and programs that drive performance and growth.
  • Support organizational design, change management, talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development to implement training programs and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential; or HRCI PHR or SPHR certification; or, ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
