About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at CHI St Vincent. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the employees and leaders of our hospital.


This is a hands-on role that requires a broad range of skills and expertise, including employee relations, employee engagement, labor relations, performance development, conflict management, and training programs.


You will have the opportunity to support specific groups and functions in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical leaders across the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters
  • Proactively plan and align HR initiatives to support business goals and objectives
  • Advise employees, managers, and executive leaders on personnel matters, including interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the accomplishment of business goals and outcomes
  • Partner with employees, management, and HR team to promote and maintain positive employee relations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources or Leadership
  • HR experience should encompass generalist experience or at least two areas of specialty, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc.
  • MBA or related Master's degree preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certifications preferred
