Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Safe Horizon. As a key member of our Family Support Team, you will play a critical role in providing leadership and guidance to our team of therapists and support staff. Your expertise in trauma-informed care and client-centered approaches will be essential in helping us deliver high-quality services to families impacted by domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to therapists and support staff
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed services and programs
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to enhance preventive and trauma intervention services
  • Facilitate family team conferences and support clients in achieving their goals
  • Administer trauma screenings and assessments to children and families
  • Conduct home visits and ensure timely and accurate entry of data into required systems
  • Coach and develop staff's practice skills in accordance with Safe Horizon's client-centered, trauma-informed approach
  • Participate in individual and group supervision and conduct supervision for direct reports
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (MSW/MHC) or related field and two years of supervisory experience in social service and/or clinical supervision
  • Licensure required to be obtained within 1 year of hire
  • Prior experience working with children and families impacted by domestic violence, abuse, and/or trauma
  • Experience working with family involved in child welfare
  • Sensitivity towards and understanding of victimization, especially the experience of survivors of domestic violence and all members of their families
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
  • Advanced degree (LMSW/LMHC/LMFT or related field)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with family therapy or individual therapy preferred with survivors of domestic violence or persons causing harm in a trauma-informed setting
