Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Position at NY_OGS_The City University of New York

Overview:

The NY_OGS_The City University of New York is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide medication evaluations, medication management, and consultation for its students. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing services via teleconference and telephone, with occasional on-campus visits as required by the Director of the Counseling Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medication evaluations and medication management for students
  • Consult with the Director of the Counseling Center on student cases
  • Provide services via teleconference and telephone, with occasional on-campus visits

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner Licensure in the State of New York
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health
  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Licensure
  • Three (3) Years of verifiable experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Malpractice Liability Insurance in the amount of $1 Million per claim

  • Interview - 30 points
