Staff - Registered Nurse (RN) - CVU - Cardiovascular Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Unit at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Prioritize patient and family needs, delegate tasks effectively, and follow up promptly to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues and community members to create comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Develop and implement educational programs to empower patients, families, and healthcare professionals with knowledge and skills to promote better health outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient care issues and make informed decisions that prioritize patient safety and well-being.
- Minimum one year of recent full-time Telemetry/EKG experience, with a strong understanding of basic hemodynamics and cardiac medications.
- Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in your area, as well as hospital procedures and rules.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical documentation, and email.
