Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team in Plano, Texas.

The CVICU team at Baylor Scott & White Health provides high-quality care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring ECMO, CRRT, and other life-supporting therapies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, medication regimens, and other vital signs to ensure optimal care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one year of recent, full-time experience in CVICU or a related cardiovascular specialty.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
