Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional I PRN to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family psychoeducational groups to promote patient well-being and recovery.
  • Contribute to treatment plan development and attend treatment planning meetings to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assess patient safety status and report/respond to actual and potential safety issues or changes in the patient's condition.
  • Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.
Requirements
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
