Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technician PRN will be responsible for preparing patients for ultrasound exams, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following established protocols. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Collect relevant patient information, such as medical history and allergies, to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Perform sonographic exams using high-quality imaging equipment and following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and results.
Requirements
  • Two to three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registered.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
