Electrical Engineer Offshore Wind

DNV GL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Offshore Wind to join our Renewables Certification team in the US.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical reviews of electrical designs required to certify wind turbine generators, electrical service platforms, and subsea power cables.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independent calculations and spot-checks of electrical design
  • Project/Package Manager for US CVA projects
  • Coordination of work tasks and deliveries from other DNV GL units in the US and abroad
  • Preparation of CVA nomination packages
  • Participation in standards development and joint-industry-projects

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in offshore wind projects and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

Location: Katy (Houston) or Medford (Boston) office.
