RN - Emergency Department Nurse

PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled RN - Emergency Department professional to join our team. As a key member of our Emergency and Trauma Center, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence
- Participate in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention program
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency experience required or currently oriented and can provide care independently within the department
- Demonstrated competence in area of expertise
- Basic Life Support, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications
Lifting, patient handling, fine motor skills, and ability to move around area with frequent sitting. Exposure to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles.
