Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Total Joint Replacement Program Coordinator to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of the total joint replacement program for patients. This includes providing leadership for all aspects of the continuum of care for the program, assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of program goals and operations.

Department Description

Ambulatory Surgery provides pre, intra, and post-operative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We cater to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. Our team works closely with various provider specialties to ensure comprehensive care for patients being discharged or admitted to the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the total joint replacement program, ensuring seamless coordination and care for patients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing program goals and operations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN or Physical Therapy license.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Two years of nursing or therapy experience in a hospital setting.
Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Please refer to the job description for specific physical demands.
