Job Summary

CARES of NY, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with daily operations, project manage team members, and work towards the execution of plans and projects delegated by the Director of Special Initiatives and the Deputy Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage YHSI team schedules and daily plans
  • Complete delegated administrative tasks
  • Monitor progress on delegated tasks
  • Lead Monthly Systems Meeting to include all partnering agencies
  • Lead weekly project meetings with all YHSI staff
  • Conduct Monthly formal project oversight
  • Provide ongoing informal project supervision
Requirements
  • Five (5) years minimum working in non-profit, community-based and/or advocacy organization
  • Three (3) years of Supervisory Experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Creativity and demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • A passion for working with communities to prevent and end homelessness
  • Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Work Environment

Full-time role, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday with hours flexible between 7:30 am-6:00 pm. Salary range: $63,000-$65,000.
