Job Summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled Desktop Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues reported on desktops and laptops, including software and hardware-related problems.
  • Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex technical problems to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Plan and execute work units in the remote desktop support service, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Manage shift schedules, risk management techniques, and escalation procedures to meet defined targets.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ITIL tools, such as ServiceNow, to adhere to defined SLAs.
  • Lead the Remote Desktop team, planning and executing work units in scope, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience, with a focus on remote desktop support.
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills, with exceptional written and verbal skills, as well as technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience in working in a Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with diverse stakeholders, and interface with key stakeholders to apply technical proficiency across various aspects of the digital workplace spectrum.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL tools, such as ServiceNow, and adherence to defined SLAs.
  • Lead the Remote Desktop team, plan and execute the work units in scope, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
