MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our medical practice or hospital department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, greeting them in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage patient intake, screen for emergent conditions, register patients, verify and explain patient responsibility for payment.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures, inputting patient charges and verifying demographic and insurance information.
  • Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or hospital department assigned.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to modern technology, clinical programs, and improving the patient experience.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience providing high-quality customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • ICD 9 and 10 Code experience preferred.
Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $29.96 per hour.
