Job Title: Behavioral Health Advisor

At Community Services Group, Inc., we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with mental health diagnoses. As a Behavioral Health Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live more independently and adjust to life in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.
  • Assist individuals in managing symptoms of mental illness and establishing their own recovery plans.
  • Support individuals in developing skills necessary for living independently in the community.
  • Utilize community resources to promote community integration, independence, and interdependence.
  • Communicate and cooperate with on-site teams, individuals' families, involved agencies, and the community to provide relevant information when needed.
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals in arranging for medical care and following healthcare recommendations.
  • Prepare meals and encourage individuals to adhere to dietary guidelines.
  • Model and support team members in shadowing and training during task completion.
  • Conduct fire drills, manage emergency situations, and provide coverage in emergency situations.
  • Assist individuals in monitoring and/or administering medications.
  • Embody the principles of trauma-informed care and promote cultural, racial, language, and gender access, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency and related personal, professional, or educational experience.
  • A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
