Position Overview:
As a Senior Tax Strategy Manager, you will collaborate with a team of experienced, renowned CPAs and industry experts. In this role, you will take charge of all facets of tax engagements, mentor junior staff, and cultivate strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review intricate gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, including associated schedules and forms.
- Deliver tax planning and advisory services to our high-net-worth clientele regarding estate, trust, and individual income taxes.
- Conduct research and provide guidance on various estate, gift, and trust-related matters, including trustee and beneficiary concerns, Crummey obligations, and generation-skipping tax.
- Identify and implement estate and income tax planning strategies for clients.
- Oversee client billing and collections.
- Manage, coach, and mentor staff, seniors, and supervisors.
- Research and draft memoranda on complex tax issues.
- Lead complex tax research initiatives for a diverse array of clients across various industries.
- Simultaneously manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
- Act as a performance manager for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CPA license, EA, or JD.
- A Master's degree in Taxation is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the tax department of a public accounting firm, with a background in leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
- Strong analytical and technical tax skills, particularly in Gift, Estate, and Trust.
- Exceptional client service and communication abilities, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Capability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $210,000*
