Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

About the Role:

As a key member of the Rocket team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. This leadership position supports the Store Manager in all store operations, maintaining a safe and customer-focused environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist with training and development of store staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, aligning with Rocket's overall business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, ensuring the efficient operation of the store.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead in a retail environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 20 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
