RN - Central Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Central Float Pool team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Current RN license in good standing with state licensing board.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg or critical care experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire).
- BSN required or enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 years.
