Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot
  • Assist with receiving and processing vendor deliveries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Working Conditions:

  • Perform approximately 95% of all work indoors, but will be required to work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, and take-out garbage
  • Exposure to extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer
  • Exposure to occasional noise

Physical Functions:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting up to one hour of workday
  • Ability to grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands up to all day
